Culturally competent therapy that meets you where you are.

I’m just going to be honest: human beings are complicated. Add in the relationships we have with ourselves, others, our loved ones and society at large? Chances are, it isn’t getting any simpler. Here we take the time to slow it all the way down and make space for ALL sides of your life. Together, I believe that we can figure out what’s really going on and what we can do differently.

I specialize in working with you despite the appearance or structure of your relationship; whether seeking support as a couple, polycule, coparents, or chosen family: I am here to make space for you and your people, as you are. You might want to work with me if you are navigating identity and family transitions, personality disorders, reoccurring conflicts, trauma, grief, neurodivergence challenges (diagnosed or not), parenting stress, and relationship challenges. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and rooted in the belief that people thrive naturally when given the tools to grow and be themselves.

Whether you are feeling stuck in an endless loop, disconnected and overwhelmed, or simply wanting relational support before things reach a turning point, therapy can help create room for understanding, healing, and change.

Have you found yourself deep in the middle of processing difficult emotions and events, only to look up and realize your 50 minutes are up and it’s time to pack it up til next week? Well, I know the feeling and I don’t like it either. Fortunately, we do things a little bit differently here.

My standard session length is 75 minutes for individuals and 90 minutes for couples/families/polycules. This is a minimum of 25 minutes longer than a standard session and one of the reasons I am unable to directly bill your insurance, however superbills can be provided upon request for those with eligible insurance providers.

I have intentionally committed to this length as I specialize in frameworks that prioritize slowing down and making space to allow for deeper, more holistic processing that keeps all parts of your life in mind.

This may be particularly beneficial if you or your partner/family member are:

  1. Neurodivergent. Whether you are diagnosed or not, we will work with what that means for you.

  2. working through complex, developmental, or medical trauma; or other attachment wounds that make trust and safety difficult to experience.

  3. redefining or discovering your identity and want more time to fully explore yourselves and the systems you are a part of.

If this sounds like the therapeutic experience you have been looking for; a space without rushing, being limited on number of sessions and time due to billing and insurance requirements, or needing to explain why being a part of your culture means healing may look different for you, then I hope you book a consult to see if we are a good fit.
